Our vision

Called by Christ, we are a welcoming community where everyone belongs. We reflect God’s love by building and strengthening relationships in service to God’s people and world.

Our mission

We will:

†  Answer Christ’s call to love our neighbor.

†  Learn more about our neighbors.

†  Create a compassionate environment.

†  Open our hearts for inclusion.

†  Discover and build new relationships.

†  Identify the needs of God’s people.

†  Go and serve together.

Our values as an ELCA Congregation
OUR VALUES ARE GROUNDED IN FAITH, OUR BIBLICAL AND LUTHERAN CONFESSIONAL SOURCES, AND OUR LOVE OF GOD AND NEIGHBOR. THEY SPEAK TO THE WAY THIS CHURCH LIVES AND PRACTICES OUR FAITH, AND THEY WILL GUIDE HOW WE JOURNEY FORWARD IN CHRIST AS CHURCH TOGETHER.
word and sacrament

God has graced us abundantly through Christ's cross and empty tomb. We believe God speaks most clearly to us through God's Word and the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. The faith relationship God has established with us is the foundation on which we build all core values for our ministry.

Gratitude and Hospitality

We believe our proper response to God's grace is witnessed in our gratitude and hospitality. We are thankful for God's blessings among us which includes all those in our midst. We seek to live our gratitude relating to one another, our community, and the world. We show our gratitude through the hospitality of sharing our homes, our spiritual gifts, our talents, our service, our money, and our relationships.

Growing God's Kingdom

We value God's church as the Body of Christ. We believe the relationships that are formed, the forgiveness that is fiven, the minstry that is accomplished, the classes that are taught all have eternal implications. The work we do at Feast of Victory is to be holy work with the goal being growing the kingdom of God rather than maintaining the institution.

Celebrating Diversity

We believe each individual to be a valued and cherished child of God. We celebrate the diversity among us, welcome the stranger, invite those of other cultures, celebrate each generation, and reach out to those beyond our walls with the love and grace of Christ.

Youth

Our youth are a valuable resource holding keys to our present and future. We cherish our children and seek to nurture, encourage, and empower them in the faith by providing consistence, unconditional love, friendship, and a safe secure refuge. We reach out to our youth, teach them, raise them in the faith, consistently incolve them in the ministry of the church, and empower them to serve in Christ's name.

Education

We emphasize education for all ages, provide opportunities to grow spiritually, spend time in prayer, and offer multiple small group experiences that call for the gathering of two or more in Christ's name.
